Wow, we had the most incredible wedding at St Michaels Hotel, we had a relaxed outside BBQ theme day which suited us and our guests so well. We had the most amazing day and all our guests came up to us to say how amazed they were with the set up, venue, the tasty food and they were just blown away with everything. I just want to say how brilliant the staff were over the weekend and big shout out to Ellie for being so attentive to us but made us feel relaxed and calm. Also Nate, Dave, Caitlyn, Shay and all the crew were all so amazing. Genuinely it was so lovely to see the staff chatting to our guests and to us throughout the weekend and I think that is very special to see, as you can see how happy and calm the staff were which reflected well and passed onto the guests. Honestly it was the most magical day and we were so lucky with the weather in the end and the staff managed to pull it off having the tables outside all decorated. It was the best day of our lives and couldn't of pictured it any better if we tried, it blew away our expectations of the day. Thank you to your incredible team.
This place is amazing. Paradise! The room was lovely. Never slept in a bed as comfy! Included TV, huge shower and the usual complimentary tea & coffee. Everywhere is so clean and tidy. The food was delicious. Tasty breakfast, with huge amount of choice! Dinner was lush, so was the Pimms! What makes this place so special is the team of staff ! I cannot remember everyone's name but Sally, Hannah, Nate and the bar manager and his staff were second to none! Cool lady with Converse trainers allowed me to use facilities and store bags after check-out. I wish I was still there! Thank you so much for a great stay ! In the words of Arnie "I'll be back" 5 stars!
Only just realised after my what is now 4th visit i hadn't left a review. This place is my slice of heaven! All 4 time of coming here have been perfect! From the beautifully decorated and clean layout of the rooms/restaurant and bar. The spa is amazing and the best you will in the south West! In all 4 times I have been here the staff and food have been amazing. Special mention to Andy,Tom, oli and the most incredible head chef luna! Found out luna has been here all the times I have been here but now has been elevated to the head chef role! What a job she has done. They better not ever loose her. Her passion and love for food shines on every plate! Looking forward to coming back! It will not be long, i can only pray the scallop dish is still on. Again huge love to all the amazing crew and staff at this amazing slice of heaven!
The place is lovely my wife had a mud scrub which she loved but wished there was a clock because you do it all yourself she didn't know when to change to the next part of it. She also said the changing room didn't have enough space to clean up to many people using the mirrors so when she came out she still had mud on her. We aslo both used the spas pool for 2 hours this is a lovely relaxing place the outside hot tub is boiling hot plus the outside suna is great with a is lovely. The bedroom was lovely we had a super king room with sea view. All was great until we went to sleep the bed is rock solid which we don't like.
Had the best night stay here this weekend! The room overlooked the sea to the south was gorgeous, although this didn't have evening sun but not their fault, if you wanted evening sun book rooms on west side but overlooks the car park a bit. The staff were lovely and friendly, the breakfast was amazing with lots of good quality fresh ingredients. The pool included was good but they've removed the nice deck chairs inside at the end and plants so it feels less luxurious now compared to a few years ago, we were hoping to sit by the poolside and chill for a bit but you can't really do that. Other than that we would love to stay again!
